Yankee Belle

welcome

Farewell Pita Pita.

Today lil B decided she was a big girl, and no longer needs her pacy...fondly named Pita Pita.

We went to Build-A-Bear. She picked out the pink kitty. Placed her pacy(s) in it and said good-bye to her baby-hood. (I held back my tears.)

Welcome Pita Pita Kitty!

(Please keep mommy and daddy in your prayers for the next week especially around nap & bedtime.)

Awww... It's a very sweet kitty and maybe will be soothing, even if she can't stick the actual pita pita in her mouth. I'll miss hearing her ask for it! Such a big girl!

I think that's an inspired idea! What a great way to ease a difficult transition for a little one.

Good luck Lil' B...what a big girl!

Make sure to hide all knives and scissors from Daddy...he might gut the kitty in the middle of the night : )

What a great idea! I may need to steal it. Though I am assuming that yours is much younger than mine!

Isn't it funny what kids call their paci's?? Both of my girls called it their Mi-Mi's. T left it for the Easter Bunny and he took it and left her a basket full of stuff. KJ gathered hers all up (believe me, there were a lot of them) and gave them to me for $1. neither of them ever asked for them again.

Genius, pure Genius! My little mini-me will be 3 in August & we are STILL battling with the whole, "I want my paci". I have to admit that I have not bought any additional Paci's in MONTHS-but she's like a dog that hides or buries a bone & goes back to find it. She keeps finding paci's randomly 'hidden' around the house. AAARRR!!!
